This week I went to half moon bay twice. We found out that by law all Californian beaches are public so we went around exploring "private" beaches.
On Tuesday we got lucky with the weather and it was really sunny and nice. That day we saw a beach from the highway and decided to climb down to it. We parked our car in a nearby street, and headed towards the beach. The path leading down the cliff had a no trespassing warning, and cautioned us about private property, so we went around and found a hidden path going alongside a creek that let out into the ocean.
The beach we found was a gem. It was the most beautiful beach I'v been too so far (in California). Perfect soft sand stretched for miles, and the view of the ocean was gorgeous!
This adventure served as another reason to explore protected areas.
